Our Mission
Education as a Path to Opportunity
The Jado Village Foundation is committed to promoting education and community development by supporting vulnerable children, raising awareness among the youth, and providing vocational skills that empower girls and young people.
Through educational programs, social initiatives, and collective action, our mission is to create opportunities that uplift communities and build a brighter future where every child can learn, grow, and contribute to the sustainable development of Rwanda.
What We Stand For
Building Futures Through Education
Removing Financial Barriers
We cover school fees and essential expenses so that children from low-income families can attend school without interruption.
Providing Essential Supplies
Students receive notebooks, pens, shoes, bags, hygiene materials, and other required items to ensure they can fully participate in their education.
Fostering Intellectual Growth
Through extracurricular programs such as school debate initiatives, we help students develop confidence, critical thinking skills, and English proficiency.
Community Development
Vocational training, social activities, and extracurricular programs that equip young people with practical skills, encourage collaboration, and strengthen community engagement.
Our Programs
What We Are Doing
Operations started in January 2023 at GS Kiburara with 10 students from poorest families and since then we have increased the number of our beneficiaries depending on available funds. Through our community activities we have supported until now more than 70 beneficiaries
In addition to direct student assistance, we also contribute to community initiatives such as educational events and local development campaigns.
Our Current Impact
Spending Plan per Semester
We maintain a transparent and structured allocation of funds to ensure donations directly benefit the children we support.
Target Budget
Our funding goal is $500 per semester. We aim to distribute this budget evenly, with approximately one third allocated to transportation, one third to school supplies, and one third to uniforms, depending on student needs.
School Uniforms
A portion of the semester budget is dedicated to providing school uniforms for students in need, ensuring that every child can attend school with dignity and confidence.
School Supplies
We provide notebooks, pens, shoes, bags, and hygiene materials, replenishing them as needed throughout the school year.
Debate Program
Any remaining funds are directed toward debate activities that help students improve their English speaking and reasoning skills.
Academic Year Structure
Rwandan schools operate on a three-semester system each year.
- 1
First Semester
September to December
- 2
Second Semester
January to April
- 3
Third Semester
April to July
Growing Together
Future Planning and Expansion
Vocational training
We empower young women through hands-on training by providing sewing machines and workshops to build tailoring skills, confidence, and pathways to financial independence.
Strengthening English Education
The school's head instructor has requested more frequent debate sessions to further improve students' English proficiency and public speaking skills. Each debate session costs approximately $200 due to transportation and hosting expenses for expert guests, which currently limits how often they can be organized.
Long-Term Goal
Our long-term objective is to support 100 students every semester, expanding from our current base while maintaining quality oversight and sustainable funding.
Community Development
We are planning a major community library project valued at over $500,000 to create a shared educational resource center for the entire region.
Support Our Mission
Together, we can ensure that every donation directly transforms a child's future through education.

Every Contribution Matters
Even small donations help cover school fees, uniforms, and transportation costs, allowing children to remain in school and continue their education.
